Return and Refund Policy/Editing Policy/Post Production Clause

 Return and Refund Policy:

• Non-Refundable Retainer: J.R. Brannan Photography will take a retainer fee (not a deposit) to hold a date, which is non-refundable if you cancel because we have turned away other work. This retainer fee goes directly towards your balance.
• Digital Product Finality: Due to the nature of digital files, once they are delivered, they cannot be "returned," making digital purchases non-refundable.
• Cancellation Fees: J.R. Brannan Photography, particularly in commercial or wedding sectors, charge a cancellation fee (often 50% or more) closer to the event date.
• Dissatisfaction Policies: Refunds are not given simply because a client does not "like" the photos if the work aligns with the photographer's advertised style.
• Photographer Cancellation: If J.R. Brannan Photography cancels due to an emergency or camera failure, we will refund payments or offer a reshoot. 

Editing Policy/Post Production Clause: 

• Artistic Style Acknowledgment: The client is familiar with J.R. Brannan Photography's portfolio and accepts the inherent, natural aesthetic of the images.
• Creative Discretion: Client grants J.R. Brannan Photography full creative control over shooting, lighting, posing, and editing.
• Disclaimer of Alteration: Explicitly states J.R. Brannan Photography is not responsible for physical appearance, and is not required to perform extensive digital alterations (like making subjects look thinner, smaller, taller, or heavier) during post-processing.
